What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on a browser or device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as local storage, can remember settings or help a service operate securely. Some cookies expire when the browser closes; others remain for a defined period.
Cookies used on this site
Essential hosting and security
Wix may set cookies or identifiers needed to deliver pages, maintain sessions, balance traffic, prevent abuse and protect forms. These are necessary for the requested website service and cannot always be disabled through the site.
Functional preferences
Where a feature needs to remember a choice, a functional identifier may be used. These are limited to the relevant function.
Measurement
This site is connected to Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager through Wix. With your analytics permission, these services can measure page visits, booking-link clicks, successfully submitted coaching enquiries and newsletter signups. A booking-link click is not treated as a completed appointment. Names, email addresses and form messages are not included in the site's custom analytics events.
Optional analytics are disabled in the site's default consent policy. Google Tag Manager manages tags; each tag's behaviour depends on its configuration and your consent settings. Essential Wix hosting and security technology remains available.
Third-party websites
Calendly is linked rather than embedded. Its cookies are not placed merely because you view a Coach Meltzer page. If you follow the link, you leave this website and Calendly may use cookies under its own policy. The same principle applies to article sources and other external links.
Your choices
Choose “Reject optional” or “Allow analytics” in the cookie notice. You can reopen it using “Cookie settings” in the footer and change your choice at any time. Saving a choice refreshes the page so Wix can apply the policy. Refusing optional analytics does not prevent you from browsing, enquiring or following the booking link.
You can also use browser settings to inspect, block or delete cookies. Withdrawing permission does not automatically remove cookies already stored; browser controls let you clear them. Blocking essential cookies may prevent forms, security features or page delivery from working correctly.
Browser controls vary. Look for “privacy”, “cookies” or “site data” in your browser settings. You can also clear stored data for coachmeltzer.com after a visit.
Legal basis and updates
Essential technology is used to provide the website and for legitimate interests in security and reliable operation, subject to the LGPD. Optional technology that requires consent will be used only after a valid choice and must be as easy to refuse or withdraw as it is to accept.
This policy will be updated if new analytics, advertising, embedded scheduling or other cookie-using features are introduced. Guidance comes from the ANPD’s cookie guidance.
