Why a method matters

A clear structure without a rigid script.

Most people do not lack potential. They lack a reliable way to turn what they know into movement.

Understand, Adapt, Create is the overarching direction of my coaching. The GIIFTS Method provides a deeper structure within it. It keeps the preferred future visible, turns reflection into action and uses evidence from real life to improve the next decision.

My approach is future-focused and solution-focused. I draw on what your past experience can teach you, then help you identify resources, challenge limiting assumptions and build the future through useful steps.

The model supports career decisions, AI adoption, business ideas, purpose, confidence and financial mindset. The subject can change. The discipline of moving from clarity to action remains valuable.

The full framework

Six connected stages.

Each stage has a distinct purpose, but the method works as a connected cycle. A useful piece of feedback may sharpen the goal. A new insight may change the implementation.

  1. G 01

    Goal Setting

Choose a future worth moving towards.

I help you define an outcome that is specific enough to guide action and meaningful enough to sustain effort. The goal is not borrowed from someone else's idea of success. It has to fit your values, responsibilities and real situation.

    Questions I may ask

    • What do you want instead?
    • What would tell you that progress is real?
    • Why does this matter now?

    Practical output

A clear preferred future and a useful measure of progress.

  2. I 02

    Insight

Understand what is already shaping the situation.

I help you examine strengths, values, assumptions, patterns and friction. Insight also means noticing exceptions: moments when the problem has less power and resources that are already available but underused.

    Questions I may ask

    • What is working better than you think?
    • Which belief is limiting the available choices?
    • What strength can you use here?

    Practical output

A more accurate view of your resources, obstacles and options.

  3. I 03

    Implementation

Turn thinking into a practical experiment.

I help you translate insight into a decision, conversation, test or next step that can happen in real life. The action should be meaningful, but small enough to begin without waiting for perfect confidence or certainty.

    Questions I may ask

    • What is the smallest useful move?
    • What will you do, and by when?
    • Where could ChatGPT or another tool genuinely help?

    Practical output

A realistic action with clear ownership and timing.

  4. F 04

    Feedback

Learn from evidence instead of prediction alone.

Action produces information. I help you review what happened, what changed and what you can learn from the result. Feedback is not a verdict on your ability. It is material for a better next decision.

    Questions I may ask

    • What happened when you acted?
    • What became easier or clearer?
    • What should be kept, changed or stopped?

    Practical output

Evidence that improves the next action and reduces guesswork.

  5. T 05

    Transformation

Make progress part of how you operate.

Repeated useful action changes more than the immediate situation. It develops confidence, habits and identity. Transformation is the point where a new response becomes increasingly natural and available under pressure.

    Questions I may ask

    • What are you doing differently now?
    • What have you learned about yourself?
    • Which new behaviour deserves repetition?

    Practical output

Greater confidence and a more capable way of responding to change.

  6. S 06

    Success

Recognise progress and make it sustainable.

I help you define what has improved, acknowledge your work and decide how to maintain the result. Success can complete one cycle and reveal the next meaningful goal.

    Questions I may ask

    • What is now possible that was not before?
    • How will you protect the progress?
    • What is the next level worth pursuing?

    Practical output

A result you can recognise, sustain and build upon.

A cycle, not a checklist

Progress rarely moves in a perfectly straight line.

GIIFTS is structured, but it is not mechanical. I may begin by helping you clarify the goal, or by reviewing something you have already tried. I can revisit an earlier stage with you when new information changes the picture.

The important discipline is to keep insight connected to action and action connected to learning. That prevents coaching from becoming endless conversation without change.

Inside the coaching work

What the method is designed to create.

01

Clear goals

A preferred future that is concrete enough to guide decisions.

02

Practical strategy

A route built around your real life rather than an abstract ideal.

03

Mindset breakthroughs

New options created by challenging assumptions and limiting beliefs.

04

Accountability

Specific actions, honest review and continued follow-through.

05

Real-world results

Progress measured through evidence, behaviour and meaningful change.

Where GIIFTS can help

One method. Different moments of change.

The framework adapts to the situation because the content comes from your goal, your context and the evidence created through action.

01

AI at work

Adapt your role, choose useful workflows and keep human judgement central.

02

Career reinvention

Move from dissatisfaction and too many options towards a direction you can test.

03

Business and side projects

Turn an idea into a focused experiment, feedback and a stronger next version.

04

Purpose, confidence and money

Challenge limiting beliefs and make decisions that better reflect your values.

A growing methods library

GIIFTS is the first complete framework documented here.

This Methods page is built to grow. As I formalise additional coaching and practical AI frameworks, they can be added as their own clearly structured methods without diluting the GIIFTS model.
