Who is responsible for your data
For the purposes of Brazil’s Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados Pessoais, or LGPD, the controller is Kolja von Meltzer / Meltzer Media, trading as Coach Meltzer, based in Brazil.
To make a privacy request, use the contact form and write “Privacy request” in your message. Enough information may be requested to confirm your identity before personal data is disclosed or changed.
Information collected
When you contact Coach Meltzer
The enquiry form can collect your first and last name, email address, telephone number, area of interest and anything you choose to write in your message.
When you join the newsletter
The monthly newsletter form collects your first name and email address, plus records needed to manage subscription status and unsubscribe requests.
When you book or become a client
If you choose Calendly, that service collects scheduling information under its own privacy terms. If you proceed with coaching, information needed to arrange sessions, provide the agreed service, communicate, invoice and keep legally required business records may also be processed.
When you use the website
With your analytics permission, Wix and Google Analytics can process page visits, device and browser information, and interactions such as a booking-link click, successful coaching enquiry or newsletter signup. Google Tag Manager is connected to manage measurement tags. You can refuse optional analytics or change your choice through “Cookie settings” in the footer. See the cookie policy.
Wix hosting and security systems may process technical data such as IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, security events and essential cookie identifiers. The site does not intentionally use advertising pixels or behavioural advertising cookies.
Please do not send confidential health records, passwords, financial account details or other sensitive data through the general contact form. If sensitive information is relevant to a conversation, first ask for an appropriate way to discuss it.
Purposes and legal bases
Personal data is processed only where an LGPD legal basis applies:
- Enquiries and first conversations: to respond, understand what you are looking for and take requested steps before a possible contract.
- Coaching services: to perform a contract, schedule sessions, communicate and administer the client relationship.
- Monthly newsletter: with your consent. You may withdraw that consent at any time using the unsubscribe link or contact form.
- Business and tax records: to comply with legal or regulatory obligations.
- Website operation and security: for legitimate interests in maintaining a secure, reliable service, after considering your rights and reasonable expectations.
- Legal claims: where necessary to establish, exercise or defend rights.
Where information is needed to respond to a request or enter into a service agreement, not providing it may mean the request or service cannot be completed. Newsletter participation is always optional.
Who may receive information
Personal data is not sold. It may be handled by carefully selected service providers only to the extent needed for their role, including:
- Wix, for website hosting, forms, security and site infrastructure;
- Google, for Google Analytics and Tag Manager measurement where you allow analytics;
- Calendly, if you choose its external scheduling link;
- email, newsletter, cloud storage and business administration providers used to communicate and deliver the service;
- professional advisers or public authorities when required by law or needed to protect legal rights.
Providers act under their own terms or service arrangements and may operate outside Brazil. Links to third-party websites are governed by the privacy notice on the destination site.
International transfers
Coach Meltzer works online and uses international technology providers. Personal data may therefore be stored or processed in countries other than Brazil. Where the LGPD applies, international transfers will use a lawful mechanism and appropriate safeguards, with transparency about the purpose and only the data needed for that purpose.
Brazil’s rules for international data transfers are administered by the Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados.
How long information is kept
Data is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose described above, including:
- enquiry information while the conversation remains relevant and for a limited period needed for follow-up or legal protection;
- newsletter information until you unsubscribe, with a minimal suppression record where needed to respect that choice;
- client, contractual and financial information for the engagement and any period required by Brazilian tax, accounting, consumer or legal rules;
- technical and security logs for the periods used by Wix and other providers to operate and protect the service.
At the end of the applicable period, data is deleted, anonymised or retained only where the LGPD permits or requires continued storage.
Your LGPD rights
Subject to the conditions in the LGPD, you may ask for confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymisation, blocking or deletion of unnecessary or unlawful data, portability where regulated, information about sharing, and review of certain automated decisions. You may also withdraw consent, learn about the consequences of refusing consent and request deletion of data processed on consent, subject to lawful retention.
Requests will be answered in the form and timeframe required by law. If a request cannot be fulfilled, the reason will be explained. You can also contact Brazil’s ANPD or an applicable consumer protection body.
Security, children and changes
Reasonable organisational and technical measures are used to reduce unauthorised access, alteration, loss or disclosure. No internet service is completely risk-free, so please use the forms thoughtfully.
The website and coaching services are intended for adults. Personal data from children is not knowingly collected through the public forms.
